On Tuesday,  November 29th, some of the Year 5 students who volunteered, will present their House Captain speech to their team.

Students have been working on these speeches in class.

The students are encouraged to:

• finalise and edit their speech.
• make sure their speech ends with positive examples.
• for every ‘negative’ thing you mention, you need counteract this with 3 positives.
• rehearse the speech and try to memorise as much as you can – do this as many times as you can!
• practise your body language – smile, use gestures, walk around a little, don’t be too stiff.
